CLUB INFORMATIONThe Club was formed in 1980, initially using a flood relief channel. Since 1989, we have sailed at Crealy, on Dragonfly Lake. The lake is almost tailor made for model boating, being of good size and in two parts. The larger part tends to be used by the yachtsmen, while the smaller part tends towards the scale. During the summer months regular scale navigation competitions are held. Yacht racing competitions are held both during the summer season and the winter season. This year, we are pleased to host for SWAMBC, a round each of Fast Electric’s, Yachts also the first and last rounds of the Scale Navigation series. Additionally we will be having an All Sail event, and a day specially for Steam Craft. On Fathers Day we have our Model Boating day, when every model boater is made very welcome.
