Model Boat Competition meetings

SWAMBC originses many competition meetings for Fast Electric racing, Scale Steering, Tug Towing and Yacht racing, which are hosted by member clubs. You must be a member of SWAMBC affiliated club to enter any of these competition meetings.

SWAMBC Themed Events

New for 2006 are non competitive events under the banner "SWAMBC Themed Events", these will be ran and hosted by the local clubs. Look out for Classic Sail Day, Steam Day, Warship Day & Pete's Fun Day which are all listed on the 2006 Events on this site.

SWAMBC What's on Guide to Model Boating 2006

Its ok having all this info on your PC - but you can't beat having a quaility print guide in you hand - especially when your out and about! The guide has 72 pages, with everything a Marine Modeller in the south west needs to know. It contains detailed Data Files about all 35 SWAMBC member clubs (including the club contacts, a map to their home water, local services) Dairy Dates, rules for all the SWAMBC competition sections, transmitter frequency info, adverts for marine modelling compaines and products etc, etc... and ALL THIS FOR JUST £2.00! (plus 60p for P&P)

Transmitter freq. checking service

Club members can have their transmitters tested to check it is transmitting on the correct frequencey. Contact the SWAMBC Chairman for details.
